Privacy policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
Rossi Furniture ("Rossi Furniture," "we," "us," or "our") operates rossifurniture.com and the related shopping, customer support, design, and other services described in this Privacy Policy (the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information and describes the choices and rights that may be available to you.
This policy covers browsing our store, creating an account, purchasing products, requesting offers or swatches, using wishlists and availability alerts, arranging delivery, obtaining design assistance, submitting reviews or claims, contacting us, and using our optional AI Room Preview tool. It also applies to information we receive in connection with these Services by email, chat, telephone, and other communications.
If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service about the processing of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls for that subject. Separate notices may apply to particular features or third-party services. This policy describes our practices; it does not replace any consent required by law.
1 What personal information means
“Personal information” is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you, your household, or your device. It does not include publicly available information, de-identified information, or aggregated information to the extent those categories are excluded under applicable law.
A coded or hashed identifier is not necessarily anonymous. For example, an identifier associated with an account or device may remain personal information even when it does not display a name or email address.
2 Personal information we collect or process
The information involved depends on the Services you use and the information you choose to provide. The following categories describe our collection and processing, including processing performed by providers that support our Services.
Contact and account details. Name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, customer account identifier, sign-in status, saved addresses, preferences, and account settings. Shopify or another authentication provider may process credentials or verification codes used to sign in.
Purchases and payment information. Products and variants ordered, quantities, prices, discounts, offer amounts, order numbers, purchase history, payment method, transaction status, payment confirmations, refunds, cancellations, and related records. Payment providers collect the payment credentials necessary to process a transaction, which may include card or financial account details. The order information available to us can include limited payment details, such as card brand and last digits, and fraud or payment status information.
Shopping activity and preferences. Products viewed, searches, cart contents, wishlists, swatch selections, back-in-stock requests, product interests, and preferences inferred from browsing or purchases. We may associate this information with an account, browser, or device, subject to your privacy choices and applicable law.
Design and custom order information. Room photographs, floor plans, dimensions, style preferences, budgets, project objectives, delivery location, fabric and finish choices, custom specifications, renderings, approvals, and correspondence you provide for design help or custom orders.
Delivery and service information. Recipient contact information, delivery instructions, appointment availability, access or assembly requirements, signatures or delivery confirmations, and photographs or other documentation associated with delivery, damage, defects, warranty service, repairs, or returns.
Communications and submitted content. Messages, chat transcripts, emails, inquiry details, support records, reviews, ratings, photos, videos, and other content you submit. We retain information provided during customer service interactions as needed to respond and maintain service records. Any recording of calls, if offered, is subject to a separate notice and any consent required by law.
Device and internet activity information. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, cookie and similar identifiers, referring pages, pages visited, timestamps, interactions, approximate location inferred from an IP address, and diagnostic or security information.
AI Room Preview information. The room photo you select, the product image used to create the preview, the generated image, sign-in verification, usage counts, and limited technical information described in Section 8. The special storage limits in that section apply to that tool.
Privacy and consent records. Subscription choices, cookie preferences, opt-out signals, consent records, privacy requests, and information reasonably needed to verify and respond to those requests.
Please provide only information needed for your request. Avoid sending government identification numbers, full payment card details, passwords, health information, or other sensitive information through ordinary email, chat, photographs, or free-text fields. If you provide information about another person, such as a delivery recipient, please make sure you have permission to do so and tell them about this policy.
3 Where personal information comes from
You. Information you enter into forms, provide at checkout, submit through a feature, or communicate to our team.
Your browser or device. Information collected through cookies, pixels, local storage, logs, and similar technologies when you interact with our store, messages, or embedded services.
Service providers and fulfillment partners. Shopify, payment and financing providers, manufacturers, suppliers, carriers, delivery teams, protection-plan administrators, and providers supporting communications, reviews, wishlists, analytics, and security.
Other parties you interact with. A person purchasing or arranging delivery for you, a designer acting at your request, or a third-party platform through which you contact or transact with us. Marketing and advertising partners may also provide campaign, referral, or audience information, subject to applicable choices and law.
4 How we use personal information
Operate the store and fulfill transactions. Process orders and payments; maintain accounts; save carts, wishlists, and preferences; confirm availability; coordinate custom production, shipping, delivery, and assembly; and handle cancellations, returns, refunds, repairs, and claims.
Provide personalized assistance. Respond to Make an Offer submissions, quote requests, product questions, and design consultations; arrange swatches; record selections and approvals; and create requested room previews or design materials.
Communicate with you. Send receipts, tracking, appointment details, order updates, requested availability alerts, support responses, and other service messages. Contact details may be shared with the parties arranging your delivery or resolving your service request.
Market our products and evaluate campaigns. Send permitted promotional messages, recommend relevant products, show advertisements, measure campaign results, and understand customer interests, subject to consent and opt-out rights. An inquiry or purchase does not by itself replace consent where marketing consent is required.
Improve the Services. Analyze shopping patterns, troubleshoot errors, assess performance, improve navigation and product information, and evaluate which features customers use.
Protect people and systems. Authenticate users, prevent bots and abuse, apply feature limits, detect suspicious payments, investigate fraud, secure the Services, and protect our customers and business.
Meet legal and business obligations. Maintain transaction and accounting records, comply with valid legal requests, process privacy requests, resolve disputes, enforce contracts and policies, and establish or defend legal claims.
We may create aggregated or de-identified information for analysis and service improvement. When we maintain information as de-identified, we will take the measures required by applicable law to maintain that status and will not attempt to re-identify it except as legally permitted.
5 How we disclose personal information
We disclose information as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. The information shared depends on the service involved.
Commerce and technology providers. Shopify and providers supporting hosting, account access, checkout, payment processing, data storage, security, analytics, and store functionality.
Manufacturers and delivery partners. Suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, carriers, white-glove delivery and assembly teams, repair providers, and claims handlers receive relevant order, recipient, delivery, or service information to fulfill purchases and resolve issues.
Financing and protection providers. If you select financing, including Affirm where offered, or a protection plan, including Mulberry where offered, relevant contact, purchase, payment-status, delivery, or claim details may be processed to provide that service. These providers may collect additional information directly and make their own eligibility, servicing, or claims decisions under their own notices.
Customer experience providers. Providers support email and customer communications, chat, reviews and referrals, wishlists, and product alerts. Examples reflected in our storefront integrations include Mailchimp, Loox, and wishlist tools from Swym and Zooomy. The provider involved depends on the feature you use.
Advertising and analytics partners. Google, Meta, Shopify, and other partners supporting our campaigns may receive device identifiers, internet activity, transaction events, and related information for analytics, ad measurement, audience matching, and personalized advertising, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. See Sections 7 and 10.
AI and abuse-prevention providers. OpenAI and Cloudflare process information for the AI Room Preview feature as described in Section 8.
Parties you authorize. A designer, delivery recipient, social platform, or other party with whom you ask us to share information. Public reviews and other content you choose to publish may be visible to other people.
Affiliates, advisers, and business successors. We may disclose information within our corporate group where needed to provide the Services, to professional advisers, or in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate restrictions and applicable law.
Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, or protect legal rights and safety.
Providers acting on our behalf process information to perform their services under applicable arrangements. Some providers also process information for their own purposes as described in their privacy notices. Sending information to a provider does not remove any rights you have against us under applicable law.
6 Our relationship with Shopify
Shopify hosts our store and processes information about access to and use of the Services to provide and improve its platform. Information submitted through the store is transmitted to Shopify and relevant service providers, which may operate outside your country.
We also use Shopify enhanced features that draw on interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to help protect, grow, and improve our business, including relevant advertising features. For processing it controls, Shopify is responsible for its use of that information and for responding to related privacy requests. You may still contact us about our own processing.
Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and visit the Shopify Privacy Portal for information about Shopify’s practices and available choices. Shopify’s controls do not necessarily replace requests that must also be made to Rossi Furniture or another provider.
7 Cookies and similar technologies
We and providers supporting our Services use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. These technologies can remember information, recognize a browser or device, support features, and collect information about interactions with our store or messages.
Necessary functions. Support checkout, shopping carts, authentication, security, fraud prevention, and privacy preferences.
Preferences and convenience. Remember settings, wishlists, and other choices. The room-photo storage described in Section 8 is separate browser storage and may contain image content, rather than simply an identifier.
Analytics and performance. Measure use of the store, product interest, errors, and campaign performance. Our integrations include Google analytics and tag-management tools and Shopify analytics.
Advertising and measurement. Help show relevant advertising, match activity to audiences, measure conversions, and limit repeated advertising. Advertising providers may collect information about your activities over time and across different websites and services.
Some technologies expire when you close your browser; others remain for a set period or until deleted. Duration varies by the feature, provider, and settings. Browser controls can block or clear cookies and site data, although doing so can affect saved preferences and functionality. Clearing a browser does not necessarily delete information already held by us or a provider.
Where available, manage optional tracking through [INSERT WORKING COOKIE PREFERENCES LINK]. Where consent is required, optional technologies are subject to that consent. Advertising opt-outs and recognized preference signals are described in Section 10.
8 AI Room Preview
How See It in Your Room works
Our optional “See It in Your Room” feature lets signed-in customers create an AI-generated preview of a product in a photograph of their own room. When you request a preview, the room photo you select and the product image are sent to OpenAI to generate the result. The images must be transmitted and processed to provide this feature; the process does not take place entirely on your device.
Rossi Furniture does not retain your uploaded room photo or generated preview on its servers. This does not mean that the images are never processed by servers or that OpenAI has no retention. OpenAI’s API data is not used for model training by default. Our use of this tool does not opt your images into model training.
OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring records for up to 30 days under its default controls, with longer retention in circumstances described in its terms, including legal requirements and protection against harm. Separate storage rules can apply to particular API features, and images flagged by safety systems may be retained for review. See OpenAI’s API data controls for details.
Sign in checks and usage limits
Shopify provides information needed to verify that you are signed in. To apply the limit of three previews per customer per day, we maintain a daily usage count linked to a hashed version of your customer account ID. That count and identifier are deleted the next day. Hashing obscures the account ID but does not necessarily make the record anonymous.
Security and technical logs
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare may process signals such as your IP address, browser information, connection characteristics, and the website being accessed. It processes these signals to provide bot protection and improve its bot-detection capabilities as described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Our Room Preview application also keeps short-lived technical logs containing hashed identifiers rather than your name, email address, or photo. These logs are automatically deleted within approximately one week. These limits describe our application logs; Shopify, Cloudflare, and OpenAI may separately process technical or security information under their applicable terms.
Photos saved in your browser
The tool saves your most recent room photo in your browser on your own device so you can preview other pieces without selecting it again. The saved photo expires after seven days and is removed the next time you visit the site after that period. It is also removed when you select “Forget it.” If you do not return to the site, local storage may remain until you clear it or the browser removes it. You can also clear this website’s stored data through your browser settings.
“Forget it” removes the photo saved by this feature in that browser. It does not erase copies you downloaded, screenshots, images separately sent to our team, or records that providers may retain. On a shared device, other users of the same browser profile may be able to access stored site information; use “Forget it” when finished.
Your choices and photo privacy
Using Room Preview is optional, and you can browse or purchase without using it. Upload only photographs you are authorized to use. Please keep people, especially children, out of the image and avoid showing documents, addresses, screens, valuables, or other private details you do not want processed. The tool is intended to visualize furniture, not to identify people.
We do not publish your Room Preview photos or use them in advertising without separate permission. Photos or previews you choose to send to our customer support or design team become part of that separate interaction and follow the general retention practices in Section 12. An AI preview is a visual illustration; it is not a measurement or guarantee of product size, fit, color, finish, or appearance.
9 Marketing and communication choices
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting support@rossifurniture.com. We may retain a limited suppression record to respect your choice. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary messages about orders, deliveries, claims, security, accounts, or privacy requests.
If we offer promotional text messaging and you separately enroll, the notice at enrollment will explain the program and required consent. You may opt out by following the instructions in those messages, including replying STOP where supported. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. Service or delivery communications are handled according to their purpose and applicable law.
You can ask us to update contact details or cancel a requested product alert. Removing an item from a wishlist or ending an alert does not automatically erase order history or unsubscribe you from other communications.
If a promotion or referral program involves a financial incentive in exchange for personal information, any notice required by law will be provided with that program, including its terms and how to withdraw. Ordinary product discounts are governed by their own terms.
10 Advertising disclosures and opt out choices
Our advertising and measurement activities can involve disclosing identifiers, device and browsing information, shopping and transaction activity, and related preferences to advertising or marketing partners. Depending on the arrangement, this can include contact information or hashed contact identifiers used to match audiences or measure advertising. Hashing does not necessarily make that information anonymous.
These disclosures may constitute a “sale,” “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged for the information. Where those laws apply, you may opt out through [INSERT WORKING YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES OR DO NOT SELL OR SHARE LINK], or contact us using Section 18. Opting out does not prevent all advertising; it restricts the uses covered by your request.
Where required by applicable law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending it. When we can associate that signal with your customer account, we apply the request to that account as required by law. You may need to set preferences on other browsers or devices that cannot be linked to the same account. Learn about GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Other than recognized opt-out signals such as GPC where applicable, our site does not respond to legacy “Do Not Track” browser settings. Cookie and advertising choices may need to be renewed after clearing browser data. We will not require you to create an account to submit an applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out request.
11 Reviews and other external services
When you choose to submit a public review, your review, rating, display name, and submitted photos or videos may be displayed with the product or review feature. Avoid including private information in public submissions. Contact us if you need help removing or correcting a review; copies outside our control may remain available.
Our store may link to social platforms, payment or financing services, order tracking, related design websites, or other external sites. Those services have their own privacy practices. Review the notice at the destination before providing information. An external link does not by itself authorize unrelated sharing of your private room photos or other information.
12 How long we keep information
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of the type of information, the service involved, legal requirements, and legitimate needs to resolve disputes or protect rights. Retention varies by category; the short Room Preview periods do not apply to all customer records.
Accounts and preferences. For as long as needed to provide the account and requested features, subject to deletion requests and applicable exceptions.
Orders, payments, invoices, and delivery records. For the transaction and any relevant accounting, tax, fraud prevention, warranty, claims, dispute, or legal recordkeeping period.
Design projects, custom orders, approvals, and support records. For the project or service relationship and any associated fulfillment, warranty, dispute, or recordkeeping needs. Photos emailed to us are included in this category, even if similar photos were also used in Room Preview.
Marketing records. For the permitted marketing relationship and as needed to document consent or maintain suppression and opt-out preferences.
Analytics and security records. For the periods reasonably needed for performance analysis, troubleshooting, security, and fraud prevention, taking into account provider settings and applicable law.
Room Preview records. No retained room-photo or preview copies on Rossi Furniture servers; daily hashed usage records deleted the next day; application logs deleted within approximately one week; and the latest room photo stored locally for the seven-day period and cleanup behavior explained in Section 8. OpenAI retention is separately described there.
Deletion may be subject to exceptions needed to complete a transaction, maintain required records, investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. Backup copies may remain until their scheduled deletion and should not be returned to active use except for necessary recovery or legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it in accordance with applicable requirements.
13 Security and children
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your login credentials and verification codes private, use secure devices, and avoid transmitting sensitive information through unsecured channels. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Our Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. As of the date of this policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of individuals under 16. Please do not upload photographs of children to Room Preview.
14 Privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live, the law that applies, and the circumstances, you may have rights to:
Know whether we process your personal information and access information about its collection, use, disclosure, and recipients.
Obtain a copy of your personal information, including in a portable format where required.
Correct inaccurate information or request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling where applicable; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where the law provides that right.
Withdraw consent, object to processing, or request restriction of processing where applicable.
Appeal certain decisions about your request or complain to the relevant regulator.
Submit a request to support@rossifurniture.com or call (855) 588-1308. Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records, such as the email address used for an order. Do not send a password, full payment card number, or government identification unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method through a secure channel. Use the privacy choices link in Section 10 for advertising opt-outs.
For requests that require verification, we may match information you provide against our records or use another proportionate method. We use verification information to handle the request and prevent fraud. We will not require identity verification for an opt-out where the law prohibits doing so.
You may use an authorized agent where permitted. We may request proof of authorization and, where allowed, verification directly from you. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or denial. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights, although deleting information needed for a requested service may prevent us from providing that service.
If you wish to appeal a denial where an appeal right applies, contact support@rossifurniture.com with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal” and enough information to identify the original request. We will review the decision and explain the outcome and any available further complaint route. You may also contact the appropriate privacy authority or state attorney general where applicable.
15 Additional information for California residents

The categories and purposes in Sections 2 through 5 and the retention criteria in Section 12 form part of this notice.

16 International processing and regional rights
We, Shopify, and other providers may transfer, store, or process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, we rely on an appropriate mechanism, such as an adequacy determination, contractual protections, or another legally permitted basis.
If European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Swiss data-protection law applies, our legal bases may include performing a contract or taking steps you request before a contract; legitimate interests in operating, improving, and protecting our business where those interests are not overridden by your rights; complying with legal obligations; and consent where required, including for certain marketing or optional tracking. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Where required for transfers from the EEA or UK, appropriate safeguards may include European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or recognized UK equivalents, unless an adequacy decision or another lawful exception applies. Contact us for information about applicable safeguards. Where Canadian privacy law applies, you may have rights to access or correct personal information and withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. We will explain relevant consequences of withdrawing consent.
Rossi Furniture is responsible for the personal information it controls. Certain providers separately control their own processing, as explained in their notices. You may contact us with privacy concerns and, where applicable, lodge a complaint with your local data-protection or privacy authority.
17 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy and revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying a material change. Any required consent will be requested separately rather than inferred solely from continued use of the store.
